Lots of hard sweaty work put forth yesterday and today that netted over $800 for AC PAW going into a period of the year that is very tight on finances for us. This was a new event for us and I am really happy with how it went. Lots of people helped with this success and I hope I dont miss anyone. Heather Mark Johnson and Blind Finn brought us some of the most AMAZING caramel corn for the bake sale! (Plus I got to see Finn so that was awesome). Jill Emerick delivered to us a GAZILLION yummy treats made by Chef Abby Emerick ;) Oh those brownies were sooooo good when I got home. Kellie VanAelst brought over homemade bread and cookies! Louise Kozan, Connie, Iola Christensen, Patti Richards, Carol Bauer all helped set up tents and tables and sort and price items. Jill Shelton-Robinson and her adorable daughter Laura brought a gazillion yummy treats too PLUS stayed all day long, helped with tear down, sold some of our left over items via phone/Facebook, Mariah Gravette stayed all day long and helped with tear down. Its fun too see these teenagers that are willing to hang out with us old ladies and help and just do whatever is needed :) THE BIGGEST THANK YOU GOES TO Rebecca Lawrence AND EVERYONE AT American Legion & Auxiliary Bowen-Holliday Post 35 Traverse City, Michigan WHO INVITED US TO DO THIS GARAGE SALE WITH THEM, provided extra tables and sold baked goods - Plus helped arrange for pickup of all the left over items :) :) THANKS BECKY.
