Lots of interesting stats about Suarez that are being pointed out. Everyone trying to do whatever they can to say well miss him. Yes he did score 31 goals, yes he did provide 12 assists, and yes he did create 22 big chances...... However, as I pointed out last year on numerous times, firstly and most obviously he spends an average of 6 games a season suspended, which is massive to any team. Secondly and my most important point is that all 31 of his goals came in games we had already won. In a nutshell, the number of games where Luis Suarez was the actual difference maker through a vital assist or goal in a 1-0 or 2-1 win for example stands at a big fat ZERO! Daniel Sturridge was the difference maker in 8 games last year. Suarez didnt score against City, Chelsea or Arsenal. He scored 12 against the relegated teams, a further 12 against teams in the bottom half who we beat comfortably all season. My point is that the games that really defined our season: chelsea home and away, city away, West brom away, villa home, palace away, these were the games that cost our season and he scored 1 goal (to make it 3-0 against palace). Yes he is an unbelievable talent that we will miss in some capacity, but he can take his 17.1% chance conversion rate, his over inflated ego, 6 game average season suspension and his occasional tenancy to bite people to barca. All the united fans that are creaming over your new manager and think weve lost out on a massive player and will never replace him think again, because everybody is replaceable and we will certainly be a threat next year without him
