Lots of miles today! First, to Clarksville Missouri where I put a crew on a rock train, assisted them to get out of the siding, and then took the conductor back to the head of the train, right next to the lock and dam at Clarksville. See the video and the picture. I was then on my way home and just north of Hannibal was called to go to Golden Illinois and pick up a crew and take them to Galesburg. Just before I got there the railroad dispatcher came on the radio and said the crew would go instead to the town of Avon and get on a coal train that needed to be hauled into Galesburg. Okay, Im easy. So we got almost to Avon and the dispatcher came on and said you wont have time to get it in so go ahead and go to Galesburg. Okay, Im easy. Dropped off the crew then drove home to Quincy. Now for some reason Im really tired and Im going to go get some sleep. Have a great Thursday evening everyone!
