Lots of new ideas for 2015, and one very important one close to my heart, is mentorship. For a long time now, i have taken time out daily to engage with others in regards to helping them with aspects of there growth as a composer. There understanding as a businessman or woman, and helping to shape and hone there path a little more so they can achieve goals which might seem out of reach, or like there looking at the music industry through frosted glass and crave to know more. Im going to get some very basic paperwork drawn up so both parties feel happy and secure in undertaking this process. Im going to be introducing a fee per hour, or over an agreed time scale, so that my time is paid for, but that person is assured of complete attention during our session together. Im going to give it a great deal of thought in order to ensure your time is very well spent when your working with me. So i think Skype sessions, Q&As and in some cases, phone calls where we can both be flexible in order to fit sessions in with our busy lives, is the way forward.
