Lots of people are talking about no one wanting to coach at a school that fires you for 9 wins, I for one would like to reverse that and say what coach wouldnt want to come to a school that has declared its willing to do all that is necessary to win championships. I know 9 wins is good, but Nebraska wants to be great if not elite. The last time I checked Oregon, Alabama, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Florida State and Auburn dont gather in top flight recruits and top 10 recruiting classes with promises of 9 win seasons. I firmly believe that once the dust settles and a new staff is in place that Nebraska will be better for it. I dont feel that way because I didnt think Bo was or is a bad coach. I feel the opposite hes a great coach and did a ton of good things while at the helm. I feel that way because the road back is less daunting now than it was when he was hired, we have talent, resources, world class facilities and with the right guy pushing the buttons we can get those elusive big time wins that for whatever reason eluded Pelini. I also want to say thank you to Pelini and his staff for their dedication and hard work, you left us better than when you found us and when we win a championship just know that a part of it is because of you, and your players. Youll always have a home at NU, go big red Bo, Go big red!
