Lots of people have been asking what happened. Let me just say this. Simba does not run away. He is a highly trained dog with excellent tracking skills. He was wearing his pet link tag on his collar. At around 1pm today after putting out about 100 flyers and hitting a flyer on every stop sign within 3 mile radius for my house, and the news station starting to post info about Simba a call finally came in to animal control. The woman said that Simba just came to her house last night. She said she forgot to call animal control last night and this morning, she said she went to work this morning and just told Simba to stay and he did. When I was still with the news crew my phone rang it was animal control they said the woman had just called her. We ran down to the house which is on my road. Nobody was home and Simba was just out on the porch. I dont know the people whose house it was.
