Lots of people like to bemoan Facebook. Its a waste of time, were on it too much, your friends are (GASP!) posting too much about something that isnt relevant to YOUR interests. (For shame! They should cater to your needs!) But Facebook has given me the gift of commiserating with like-minded creative types. Its connected me to a variety of support networks, including my most treasured fellow heart moms. I value these relationships, many of which I wouldnt have without social media. Sure, theres an abundance of stupid memes and stuff I dont agree with. But this should be a lesson in tolerance. You know, the one we all learned in elementary school? Isnt it wonderful that were not all the same?
