Lots of postings on PSLE...congrats to all...Alhamdulillah :) My students will nvr get the chance to take their PSLE. They were referred at p3..p5..p6 fm mainstream schs...what a blow to their self esteem huh? Will they be able to go to sec schs if the family support was strong? A tr who wld go the extra mile...a helping hand perhaps? We wld nvr know wld we? What i do know is that...they struggled daily to be the best that they can be. They value their friends...showed respect n compassion. They r representing sg in special olympics n r flying off to sydney end of nov. Wearing the schs uni is not easy. They were jeered...taunted..called stupid n crazy by the kids fm neighbouring sec schs. But still they attended sch daily..so that they can be somebody. Conclusion....Theres no correct or wrong way to raise a child...its the values incurred that makes a difference
