Lots of progress today...my brain and my fingers are tired now! Hours and hours of bass will do that to you! I teased part of this song to you guys in the fall. However its a different beast with Brian Tichys drums to play along to. So...I play it over and over to really get a feel for what he did and try to lick the kick and my bass together. Earlier today I did bass and some rhythm guitars for the song called Just fine. My goal is to have most of the tracking done for these 5 songs I have with Brian by the end of next week before I head out on my cruise with Jimmy Sturr and Bobby Vincent! Going to shut things down here for the night soon. This song is simply called Why? The lyrics are very fitting for what I see in the world every day. Bass...bass and more bass. Lots of fun! The Jimmy Bain-Geezer Butler-Steve Harris licks always seem to find there way in there somehow! ;-) Peace!
