Lots of shows lined up for 2015- Im quietly dreading a lot of the driving Ill be embarking on, but Im looking forward to visiting a lot of clubs for the first time. My goal this year is to spend my time on the road more wisely. Between the anticipation of the baby, then having a baby, last year I spent every weekend on the road as a mini-vacation. I mostly just sat around, played video games, and ate terrible food. This year, I want to really re-focus on my writing. Ive been frustrated with my career lately, because I had a lot of opportunities arise that didnt pan out. I had been willing to chalk it up to the business being unpredictable, but I also need to hold myself accountable for instances where I wasnt fully prepared. Chris Rock has a great quote, where he says if youre unhappy with your career, write new material. This is going to be a heavy development year, Im going to attack my comedy hard and establish myself as someone with longevity.
