Lots of things are being said about the happenings in Hong Kong in various media lately, but this video (reposted by many on Social Media everywhere) simply and beautifully shows one of the most amazing things I have ever seen and is such a fine example of positive change and hope for humanity as a species! Hong Kong is about three times the size of San Jose, CA land wise with about seven times the population. It is one of the World’ leading economic powers and considered by many to be the “freest” Capital Market in existence. I would venture to guess that the vast majority of Americans cannot truly relate to that kind of population density, thankfully this beautiful video gives a nice inkling of the MASSIVENESS of not just this City/State, but the population of folks who want the right to choose who governs them. I sure wish Americans came out in such numbers to vote like we get to do every single year. I hope more of us in this country see such things and stop taking things so much for granted. I hope more folks world wide realize that this is a clear and actually simple demonstration of Economic Power! The People hold more power than they all too often realize and that “the powers that be” often fear, but Revolution and Cultural Upheaval will happen no matter how hard some may try to stop it. This is nothing new in human history, but in this age of Communication it is much much easier to see and hear and hopefully change ones perspective.
