Lots of thoughts and emotions to filter through after seeing American Sniper. Thoughts of my father in law, who was dropped in Vietnam as a sniper. Thoughts of our son, who was in the front lines of the war in Afghanistan. What they saw and experienced, the split second decisions they had to make. All the other loved ones who have served. I did not cry at all, but I noticed I held my breath and my hands were clenched most of the movie. Show your pride for your country, for all servicemen and women, and particularly Chris Kyle and his family and see this film. Its well worth it.
