Lots of you, dare I say most of my friends from north of the border have not visited Tijuana in a while. Fear, long border wait times, an image of a dusty and dirty border town comes to mind. What has happened since Tijuana lost its American tourism is a flourishing of local creativeness poured into beer, food, wine and culture. I recently had lunch in SD with a very well know media editor who understands how in the end, San Diego will fall behind the curve if it doesnt start to look at its sister-city to the South.
