Lottie F. Black, age 77, of Etowah, passed away Saturday morning, November 29, 2014, at a local healthcare facility. A native of Arkansas, she had lived in Pontiac Michigan for 31 years and had spent the last 27 years in McMinn County. First and foremost, she loved the Lord and her family and was a charter member of the Etowah Church of God. She also loved softball and caring for animals. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jake and Marie Bartley Nance; sister, Rozzie Summers; brothers, Dallas and Bobby Nance. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 61 years, Al Black, Jr. of Etowah; children, Carl Glenn Black of Pontiac, Michigan, Jane Ann ( Marion) Perry of Riceville, Martha Marie (Steve) Cischke of Rochester Hills, Michigan, Kathleen Fay(Mark) Perry of Riceville, Adam Jeffrey (Angel) Black of Rochester Hills, Michigan , and Wendy Lynn Weber of Georgia; siblings, Sunny (Beverley) Nance of Keego Harbor, Michigan, Rickey O. Nance of Pontiac , Michigan, Barbara Jean Nance of Arkansas, Joyce Ann Nance of Arkansas, Jeff Nance of Arkansas, and Jamie Nance of Arkansas; eighteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2p.m. Tuesday, December 2, 2014, from the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home. Interment will follow in McMinn Memory Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 12-2p.m. Tuesday prior to the service.
