Lou Lou decided to post a selfie to Facebook to show the world how much better he is doing! We had a small setback recently when Lou stopped eating and was out of sorts. X-rays were inconclusive and within a day he was back to normal. Whew! You may recall that Lou came to the Cat Shack emaciated, with a broken pelvis and black rubber material in his belly. The rubber had to be surgically removed. We assumed that he ate that inedible rubber only due to a desperate need to fill his starving belly, but there is always a concern in these situations that the cat might eat non-food items again so we were nervous! He does carry items around in his mouth and is a very busy cat so his future owners should be sure to provide lots of toys that are too big to be swallowed! Lou Lou loves other cats and enjoys playing ALL the time. It would be wonderful to see him adopted to a home with at least one other playful young cat. Two other cats as friends would be even better since he would likely drive one cat crazy with his high energy level! Www.thecatshack
