Louie seemed to be in pain. He was standing with his back arched and his head tilted to the left. When I tried to touch him, he screamed. I gave him Carprofam (sp?) a pain killer and he seemed to get better. But I wanted the vet to check him out, so I stopped giving him pain killers the day before the appointment. I took him in and the vet moved that dogs neck all over the place and although Louie growled at the imposition, he was not in pain. I wanted to choke him. Im sure the vet thinks I have Munchausen by proxy and I dream up drama with Louie. Anyway, hes on pain meds until the weekend is over and then well decide what to do. The x-ray machine was down so they couldnt take x-rays. I dont want my dog to be sick but I would appreciate it if he would show the same symptoms to the vet that he shows at home! I told the vet we were just going to move in since Louie seems to be healthier when hes there! :-(
