Louis W. Gordon Jr Many times through my life when others find I am Christian, I have often been asked - Oh really, what denomonation. I have always answer, I am of NO denomonation - I believe in the 66 books of the bible, believe Jesus came to die for my sins and that if I believe on him I will not perish but have everlasting life. You would think this would be something all who claim to be Christian would agree with and rejoice together in. Sadly, many want to know your denomonation as a means to see if you measure up to their interpretation of the word of God as taught by their sect - much like someone might size you up by the label you wear on your clothing, what school you attended or what group of people you ran with. All Christians regardless of the church they attend should be able to agree on those simple things I mentioned above such we could rejoice together in. I do not think when we get to heavan God will divide us by denomonation - a line for Methodists, Baptists, Catholics, Church of Christ, Lutherans etc. He will call for the Bride of Christ. That is the group I hope to be in. I am Christian, a believer and follower in the things of Christ, that should be enough for any and all Christians to be able to rejoice together in - he is our saviour regardless of where you attend church, that is what matters not the type of church you attend.
