For all these years the doors of those state funded shelters were closed for citizens and you could only imagine what was happening behind. In the last few years the societies for animal protection and some individuals were able to uncover the sad truth.... dogs were killed by metal bars as that was one of the chepest solutions, they were kept in small cages with no food and water untill they died. The money that was meant to be going towards the more humane solution to that problem instead went to people that were running those shelters . The state never made a slightest effort to put in place humane strategy for this problem. They had the easy ride and money from taxpayers that never bothered to check what is really happening with those animals. We had inocent creatures killed by huge amount and money stolen by huge ammount. IT IS TIME THAT CITIZENS OF THIS COUNTRY SHOW HOW HUMANE THEY ARE, AND HOW STRONG THEY ARE AND TO TELL NO TO KILLING !!!"
