Louisiana has a two-term Republican Governor, a Republican supermajority in the legislature, a Republican United States Senator, a Republican Attorney General, a Republican Secretary of State, and a Republican Lieutenant Governor. And Elbert Guillory wants to blame Louisianas only statewide elected Democrat- the only statewide elected official who believes in increasing the minimum wage and the only one who believes taking $16 billion in federal funds to expand health insurance coverage for the working poor and middle class- for failing to improve the lives of African-Americans.
