Love -2: Keep yourselves in the love of God (Jude 1:21). The second segment of love is, our love upon God. God, our Heavenly Father have created us to praise Him and to worship Him. Only a true lover of God, (I.e) those who could feel and understand the love of God, and goodness and His unchangeability, can praise and worship God always, at any situation. Our love upon Him should be a pure and Unchanging one. That is, our love upon Him shouldnt be a changing one, when our situation changes. Joseph and Daniels love and trust on Him are best examples. Their love was unshakeable, because they could understand and enjoy the Love of God upon them. They know who their God is, and somehow He will fulfil His promise for them. They didnt look at their situations. Only true love on God can make you to forget the situation. Love has no fear. Because perfect love expels all fear (1 John 4:18). The other part in this segment of love is, to show the Godly love to others and to live an example life. We should love others with the love of Godly love. That is, we should see them, in such a way that how God will look at them. Our words and our activities, the way how we treat others, should enable them to have a desire to know the love of God and to come into His love. We love each other, because He loved us first. If someone says, I love God, but hates a brother or sister, that person is a liar; for if we dont love people we can see, how can we love God, whom we cannot see? (1 John 4: 19,20). We have to resemble the love of God. But all these resembling are not possible with our flesh or by our own ability. For that we have to be always in the control of the Holy Spirit. He will help us and guide us to show the Godly love to others and to resemble Gods own nature. For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline (2 Timothy 1:7).
