Love Comes to the Executioner 2006 Love Comes to the Executioner is a dark comedy about a recent college graduate, Heck Prigusivac, who stops by his hometown before pursuing employment elsewhere as a Latin teacher. Upon learning that his mother is in need of around-the-clock medical care, Heck decides to stay at home, and gets a job at the local prison. Unbeknownst to him, he has taken the job of the chief executioner! Heck quickly becomes accustomed to the job, but also falls in love with the only female on death row -- and she is scheduled to be executed soon! Jeremy portrays Hecks brother, Chick Prigusivac, who also happens to be on death row.
