Love Hurts ……………..Prologue …………. “Please don’t hurt us!” I screamed, when Phoenix came closer to Maddi and I. “I’m sorry, but I have to sweetheart it’s the only thing I can do. “You know my secret and whoever knows must die or either they get drained of their blood, so what’s it going to be sweetheart”. “Stop calling me that!” I screamed. Phoenix just looked at Maddi and I wide eyed and laughed. “Oh yeah? Well who’s going to stop me sweetheart?” He chuckled under his breath. Maddi and I were frightened. Suddenly there was a noise and a gust of wind that pushed past us. I looked at Maddi and you can tell she was scared. “It’s ok Maddi, we will stick together until the end” I whispered so Maddi only heard. Maddi and I have been best friends for a while and we give each other advice when we need it. We call each other nicknames like ‘Baby Cakes’ that’s Maddi’s nickname and she always called me ‘Sweet Cheeks’. Maddi always got along with me, she always laughed at my stupid jokes and sometimes we had dirty minds but that was no flaw to our friendship. I suddenly got a alert tone on my phone saying I got a message. I knew immediately it was Maddi. I promised her we would go and check out the woods later to take photo’s of the new baby deer that has recently been brought into this world two days ago. We heard the woods can be scary at times, but really Maddi and I really don’t care we just want to see the cute deer run around in the paddock of fresh scented flowers that are in bloom and long wavy grass that sways in the wind.
