Love Notes 2015-Centennial Celebration 100 Days of Love A Devotional for Each Day by Dr. F. Bruce Williams Love Note # 22: “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.” Psalm 23.1 (KJV) These are among the most well known words in all of the Bible. Most recognize these words are the declaration of David who sings of the wonderful care of God. If he wrote these words in the sunset of his life, he is looking back on his life with God and is singing of how God has cared for him life a shepherd cares for his sheep. This was precious to David because he was once a shepherd and he knew with what great care a true shepherd takes care of the sheep. David is testifying in song that through all life’s ups and downs, God has provided all that he’s ever needed. Followers of Christ can testify of the same. God can and will take care of you. God never promised that we would not have some hardships and hard times. But the God we serve is willing and able to provide for all of our needs. Today, walk in the blessed assurance that God will provide whatever you need. As you walk in the assurance of a loving God will provide, go out today and show someone some love. Senior Pastor Dr. F.
