Love Potion The magic of love can never die. I looked your way, seeing you look back immediately send shockwaves rushing through my body, my mind, my heart. I tried resisting your gaze, but you persisted. I was smitten. Little did I know that moments later I was going to move from being smitten to being inlove, from being in love to finally end up loving you. How my soul dances every time you tell me I am beautiful, special, wonderful, phenomenal, that I am yours. The surge of emotion that consumes me each time I look into your big, black eyes, them looking into my soul. You see I didn’t want to believe you when you told me you love me. Maybe because I didn’t feel deserving of you, or maybe it is because you were just too good to be true. Or maybe I had waited too long to hear that, waited too long for this moment, for you, my love. Your passionate love making and fiery kisses left me paralyzed, and I love it. I was at your mercy. You enslaved me with your gentle touch, your caresses, the way you tended to my every need, making me feel like the princess I so badly wanted to be. You said over and over “I love you”…….I told you once “ As long as you don’t hurt me”. I gave in. The sweet scent of a woman madly in love, quickly vanished when you spoke your truth. “I am married” you said. Your truth that was going to seal the deal instead left me bruised, your truth hurt me. In fact it shattered me. I was going to leave, but you gently asked me to stay. I was going to forget you, but you kissed me once more.
