Love/ Relationships/ Marriage October 30- Activate  James 1:22 (NIV) says, “Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.” Ouch! As Christians we sit and listen to a message on Sunday mornings but does it fall on deaf ears? Are we thinking of the message during the week? Do we even remember what the message was? Hopefully, when we listen, we are processing the message as it applies to us. The next important step is to activate the principles in our own lives. When we read and study God’s Word we are Spirit led to practice it. What good does it do to read, study or listen if we don’t practice it? “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God” (Rom. 10:17). The word “hearing” infers to “being an audience to”; to allow it soak into your spirit. The more we take in of Him, the more we know the truth. And the more truth we have, the more freedom we walk in. Faith grows inside of us by trusting God. When we put different biblical principles into practice they become a part of us. “This is the way, walk ye in it” (Is. 30:21). Come Holy Spirit! Please share. thirdcordsecret
