Love is Always putting the Interest of OTHERS ABOVE AND BEYOND ONES SELF......Besides our King Jesus, in the Holy Scriptures....The Apostle Paul blesses me so greatly, and I am sure that so many others have been blessed as you have learned of His life, and Ministry. In the book of Philippians 1:21-27....Paul is torn, He is experiencing that has his heart and mind struggling in two different directions... He expresses to us in verse 21: For Me to live is Christ and for me to Die is gain, but I am hard-pressed, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, for THAT IS MUCH BETTER........Im sure Everyone can agree with Him on this one point....then He said; Yet to remain on in the flesh is MORE NECESSARY FOR THEIR SAKE.... He was always concerned about the welfare of the brethren....He knew or learned how to put others interest ahead of His Own, (Very Few and I mean very few brethren in the body of Christ, I have personally met), follow in His footsteps. Most people are ONLY concerned about their own personal interest.... Then He says in verse 27, ONLY please conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the Gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or remain absent, I will HEAR of you and that you are Standing firm in ONE SPIRIT, with ONE MIND STRIVING TOGETHER for the faith of the gospel. Notice His words, Striving Together...Not this individual independent spirit that has become so common among the Modern day Church today...This just Me and God attitude that is hurting the core oneness of the brethren....keeping the bond of Love and Unity flowing among us....Maybe we have so quickly forgotten that their are NO lone-rangers in the Kingdom of God. You have a personal relationship with God but it extends to the corporate oneness we all share in Christ Jesus....When God blesses you, It is never meant for you Alone....Just like there really is NO personal sin committed in the kingdom of God, there is also really No personal blessings as well. Now Notice Once more in the book of Philippians chapter 2:2 - Make My Joy complete by being of the Same Mind, MAINTAINING THE SAME LOVE, UNITED IN SPIRIT, INTENT ON ONE PURPOSE......(NEW AMERICAN STANDARD VERSION). Do Nothing from Selfish or empty conceit, but with Humility of Mind, regard ONE ANOTHER AS MORE IMPORTANT than Yourselves; Do not merely LOOK OUT FOR YOUR OWN PERSONAL INTERESTS, BUT ALSO FOR THE INTERESTS OF OTHERS. HAVE THIS ATTITUDE IN YOURSELVES which was also in Ethiopian Christian Fellowship New Creation Church L.A.... Jesus... You are blessed to be a blessing to Others....Any knowledge, Revelations, Faith, Love, fruit you may bear, Any grace you receive in the Long run is to benefit others... Very Few brethren I have personally met have developed this attitude...Oh everyone boast about their love for Jesus but very few Love like He does or did. Think about it friends, God never said...(1),The world will know that you are my disciples, based on your personal relationship with God....(2),The world will never know you are Christ Jesus disciples ONLY by the way you attend a Church Service or Worship, Sing or Any other activities. Only by how you demonstrate Love towards one another will reveal the full Maturity and development of your love-walk in Christ. Love is the Only reflection of Gods Nature, Character, likeness.... We are a Nation of people, We Are One in Christ...We are His body, He is our Head.....the Head doesnt function independently from the body, the body is also affected by what the head does.....The head leads and the body follows...So whatever God is doing, the body should be already aware of it as well. So if the Head is telling the body to Love one another in the SAME MANNER as He has shown Love towards other saints who have already come before us, then we too must also Obey his command...Are we immune? Are we exempt? Are we better than those early day disciples of Christ Jesus? They demonstrated the Love of God by laying or sacrificing their very lives for another...We Cant even greet one another, Or inquire if one is Okay....on any level...Its a shame In the Service of the King of kings Ambassador Paul Potter Apostle of Love and Unity for the entire body of Christ.
