Love is Wisdom If anyone imagines that he has come to know and understand much [of divine things, without love], he does not yet perceive and recognize and understand as strongly and clearly, nor has he become as intimately acquainted with anything as he ought or as is necessary. But if one loves God truly [with affectionate reverence, prompt obedience, and grateful recognition of His blessing], he is known by God [recognized as worthy of His intimacy and love, and he is owned by Him]. 1 Corinthians 8:2-3 AMP To have true knowledge and true wisdom one must view things through the lens of His love. In fact, He is this love. God is love. Without love full of the divine God, the Lord Jesus Christ, there is no value or true understanding of anything. We are blind to the full truth when anything is viewed from a perspective outside of the love of Christ. This is a deep, and strong love that does not accept any lesser standard. It is beyond the mind and beyond human capacity. It is outside of self. It is focused outward in action by how we treat others. It is full of grace and beauty. It forgives all things and is sincere in how it speaks. It knows no deceit and is transparent. It is thankful, grateful, and true. Lord thank you for where I am, who I am with, and where I am going. Thank you for loving us so much that you allow us to spend time with you to tap into your vast well of goodness. Forgive me for taking many things for granted. You know my every need. I ask you to help me to remain on your path and to be filled with love, wisdom, and all things of you. Amen.
