Love makes good impressions. How do you greet your spouse when they come home? You can tell allot by the state of relationship the couple is in by their impressions. You can see it in their expression, tone of voice and how they speak to one another. Heres a kicker, how about how they interact physically. Is it non-existent?? When someone communicates they are glad to see you, dont you feel better? Doesnt your sense of personal self worth increase? Good greetings sets the stage for positive and healthy interaction. I read this once that we should greet our spouse like we greet our children. When your child wakes up on a Saturday morning, do you say good morning, how did you sleep and maybe give them a hug or kiss? Why dont we do that with our spouse? Or when your child returns home from school, what do you say? Hi, (upbeat tone) how was your day? Again, we might peck them on the cheek and hug them. Greet another with a kiss of love :-)
