Love not Legalism. John 6:63a It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all.... Colossians 2:20 If with Christ you died to the elemental spirits of the world, why, as if you were still alive in the world , do you submit to regulations. Galatians 3:2-3 Let me ask you only this:Did you receive the Spirit by works of the law or by hearing with faith? Are you so foolish? having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh? Romans 6:14 For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under Grace. Paul said in 2 Corinthians 5:14a For the Love of Christ compels(controls)me. Legalism does not produce Warriors. Love does. Religion fosters rebellion. True Grace will produce acts of obedience out of a love for Christ. If we desire to engage in the battle to change the next generation it will not be done by law or regulations. It will be done by the power of the Holy Spirit as we continually give opportunity for Jesus Christ to be known through the truth of Gods Word.
