Love of Water is a great reason for us to bring a halt to the plans they have of running a pipeline across northern B.C. In this country we have very important rivers whose well being is crucial to the remaining stocks of wild salmon; the Skeena, Babine, Stikine, Nass and all their tributaries are in danger. Pipelines cannot be run across this country without damaging the side streams where the salmon spawn, damage the streams beds with heavy machinery and the eggs are destroyed and nothing will bring them back. They plan to go underground to protect the main rivers but no plans are in place for the side streams where up to 90% of the salmon spawn. We must raise our voices as one.
