Love this song! God has spoken to us in so many ways. There is the book of Creation. The book of the Moral Law within. And theres this wonderful book of ink and paper, written by the prophets, that tells us of the Savior. So many prophecies fulfilled, written hundreds of years in advance of the One who would be born in Bethlehem, would be rejected of men, His precious face would be spit upon, His beard plucked from His face, would die a horrible death, but would rise from death in resurrection as the New Man! A New Creation! The Inaugurator of a New Species on this earth that would bear His image. But God doesnt stop speaking to us in the Bible. Theres so much more! God having spoken of old in MANY PORTIONS and in MANY WAYS to the prophets, has now in these days SPOKEN TO US IN THE SON, whom He appointed HEIR OF ALL THINGS, through Whom He made the universe, Who is the Effulgence of His Glory and the Express Image of His Substance... (Hebrews 1:2-3a). Everything God now desires to speak to us is in the One Word, in the One Son. All of the words of the Bible, all the words of nature, every word that God desires to speak now coalesces into the One Word: His name is Yeshua (Jesus).
