Love your enemy? The one thing I am really bad at is continuing with something that I am not instantly good at. Being challenged has never been my specialty, but I am being greatly challenged by the word and this time I am not giving up. Removing my judgement, my anger, my pride, my ego, my own flawed interpretation of others and my bloated sense of myself is just the first step in the never-ending journey of life. I have had to take a big step back, and chose my next steps very carefully... To some it might seem like Im turning away from you, judging you, making my problems- your problems (or vice-versa) but really what I am doing is giving myself time to think, time to pray, time to study and learn a new way to walk... like a newborn going from a crawl to a walk, and from a walk to a run. Im in a new body, and a new mind and Im stumbling and knocking into stuff and making a mess. I promise I wont give up. I will find my feet, my balance will come and one day I know well all share all life, love and the spirit has to offer in this life and the next. Thanks be to god for being there for me, when I wasnt there for him! Thanks for the attacks of the enemy, and teaching me of love 7 times for every 1 cold and bitter arrow by day and terror by night.
