So thrilled to be informed how much money was raised at this fantastic charity night at Paradise Park. I am so sorry for the delay in coming back to you following the ball. The momentum that had us swept up in the organisation of the event has passed and I have become rather slack. However we wanted to contact you to thank you for your contribution to the event. We are very pleased to let you know that the final amount raised from the night, charity matching, additional donations and a few other activities in the name of the ball was £9,687.58. The Ball itself was a huge success and we are really pleased to have raised so much money. A further £1,357 was raised by Becca doing the Race for Life so we raised just over a staggering £11,000 for Cancer Research during that month. Today UK survival rates are higher than ever before - 2 in every 4 people will beat cancer. This is incredible progress - but there is more to be done. Cancer Research UK want to accelerate that progress to 3 out of 4. In 20 years time they want more people who hear youve got cancer to also hear but youre going to be ok.
