Lovely night out which included tea and lemony fairy cake in Nos Da. The lady who made a lovely cuppa told me about the day she met Peter Andre. I told her I had met some well known people recently, although when I attempted to mention one, all I could think of was Nicholas Parsons. I decided in a couple of seconds not to mention it. Then I sat with some nice people. A gothic girl with large, dark glassy eyes told me about the ghost who haunts her kitchen. A singer songwriter took to the stage. He played some good songs...one involving a pocket rocket, and some rambling songs. Then the wonderful FUR played. I am convinced these folk are going to make an amazing album. I was imagining how it could sound with plenty of stereo panned layered vox, guitars and flutes....top notch. I was tired, and headed back to Chapter for a Spicy Tomato juice. I glided down the newly tarmacked Cowbridge Road on my bicycle. Kirsten McTernan was at Chapter . We had a nice little natter at the bar. Then I saw Debra and Noel Dacey who took some good photos. Non, Debras daughter was there. She told me to leave her out of my satanic crap when I spoke to her and said that any picture with me in it is a spooky one. I told her I enjoyed her elegant insults, and sang her a couple of improvised songs which she enjoyed very much. Debra Humphries and I then engaged in some spontaneous divination using the Chapter Library. The results of this are fairly shocking and not suitable for public announcement. Although I did get a very strong sense that Debra and I ought to make some wyrd electronic musick.
