Lovely travel day today (in spite of the invasive pat-down). I had a whole row to myself, stayed awake to watch a movie, arrived early in San Diego, got my rental car with zero hassle, jetted my way up to San Clemente, and arrived just as the afternoon session of the Ministers Gathering was beginning. Its been great to re-connect with colleagues and friends, have meaningful conversations about ministry and its rewards/challenges, sing, and just be. Thank you, God. I needed this.
