Loving Arms: From the cold mountains of Colorado to the warm streets of Austin: I sang this one to my wife on the phone when it was just about half of a song. We were in Winter Park, Colorado just before a show at Ullrs Tavern. I think she lied to me and said she liked it at the time only to find out recently she doesnt even care for the song... ha :) Cant win them all I guess... I finished the song at SXSW behind the Continental Club in Austin, Texas a week later... In my mind it sounds like a mashup of Otis Redding and Jimi Hendrix. With the chromatic walk up like Otis Ive Been Loving Youand then with the guitar solo bridge that reminds me of Jimi this is one of my favorites from our San Francisco session that produced our upcoming album: Heavy Soul & Boogie Trance. Hope you dig it!
