Loving Heavenly Father, I offer supplications, prayers, petitions, and thanksgiving before Your throne. Pour out Your Holy Spirit upon me,that in these days of pure gift, I may lead a quiet and tranquil life full of devotion, reverence and dignity in Your Holy Presence. I known dearest Lord that the greatest work that You call me to,in this season of my life, is a life of prayer. I will never abandon the call to good works, but You are calling me to remember that peace is Your ultimate desire .......I pray earnestly; "Thy will be done." Isaiah 26:12 "O Lord, You fill us with peace, for it is You who have accomplished all we have done." I cling to the Word of The Lord in Jeremiah 29:11-12 "For I know well the plans I have in mind for you, says The Lord, Plans for your welfare, not for woe! Plans to give you a future full of hope. When you call Me, when you go to pray to Me, seek me with ALL your heart, I will listen to you." God of all goodness, You sent Your only begotten Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ to be my peace. Deepen in me a life of prayer and healing intercession. Deepen in me the will to be an instrument of Your peace in every aspect of my life. I sing this evening: "O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love: for it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life!"
