Lovington School Board Names Administration Building After Long-Time Coach and Educator By Richard Morris KBIM Radio News The Lovington School Board has voted to name the administration building after long-time educator and coach Ross Black. Black began his teaching career at Lovington in 1955 and retired 46 years later, having worked as coach, educator, principal and superintendent. He died at the age of 83 last year. The Hobbs Daily Sun quotes his wife Cherill as calling the renaming pretty awesome. She says he has done a lot for the school systems.
