Lower-Income Albertans with Mobility Challenges - NEW GRANTS to ensure greater independence at home! humanservices.alberta.ca/disability-services/residential-access-modification-program.html Wheelchair users will be able to modify their homes through support from grant program increases. The Residential Access Modification Program (RAMP) grant helps lower-income Albertans retain their independence and live in their community by offering financial support to make home modifications that improve accessibility. The grant is increasing from $5,000 to $7,500 and can be used for changes such as the addition of ramps or lifts, door widening, flooring changes, and bathtub door inserts.
