Lower fuel prices are a welcomed sight to most every budget, but there is something involving oil prices plunging that every American should seriously consider. We are witnessing an effective attempt by the Saudis to drive oil prices down sufficiently to put American exploration and production out of business. While I dont claim to know what the best answer to this dilemma is, I do think we all need to understand the dynamics in play and the potential ramifications to our economy. Low prices at the pump are great on the pocketbook but something tells me they wont stay there once American oil production takes a dive from artificially induced low prices. Lost jobs in the Oil Industry and its effect on our overall economy is a serious potential on the horizon. Just something to consider...
