Loyalty is defined as remaining faithful, trustworthy, devoted, and steadfast and (its other words that defined loyal too) and in this case to a person. I was asking myself earlier today, “Who shows loyalty these days”. How far does loyalty lies? Thinking about betrayal, and why people other than for their own selfish reason betray another person who they say that they love. With my heart full of pain and my eyes full of tears thinking about the betrayal that I am experiencing right now I was reminded of the betrayal that I bestowed on someone that is so dear to me. Even though the situation is different, hurt is still hurt! Pain is still pain, and betrayal is still betrayal. Even thought my act was so many many years ago and you have told and shown countless ways that you have forgiven me, I would just like to say that I love you and I apologize for the hurt that I had caused you. I am glad that you are a part of my life. In writing these few lines, it has shown me people short comings and down falls, people ins and outs and why people do some things that they do and the best thing about it, I’m not exempt of those people. I thank GOD for showing me myself. What the devil meant to harm me with, GOD rescued me! All things work together for the good to them that love God, who are called according to his purpose. With my head lifted up and my heart full of praise, with my heart of thanksgiving, I will still bless the Lord and his praises forever shall be in my heart, mind, and soul!
