Lucas first day of riding the bus to school today. I am sitting in my house wiping tears off my face because this growing experience just hit me in the gut. My little guy is so independent and he loved getting on the bus this morning and meeting his driver Ms. Ada. He waved at me the whole time as they pulled away with the biggest smile on his face. He makes my heart burst with happiness. I know my tears are mainly because I am in awe of him and how far we have come but wow...what a morning!! Ok now time to pull myself together!!!
