Lucinda Williams- Lucinda Williams 1988 Its possible this is the last LP I bought for about a 20 year period. Im not sure, but its close. CD took over every store, my turntable quit working and there seemed to be no need. Anyway, this one sort of launched Lucinda, Grammy for writing Passionate Kisses, critics darling for Changed the Locks and I Just Want to See Your Face. Good news the vinyl is in great shape, because I hardly played it. Bad news, it took me about 15 years before I realized how much I like it. I bought the extended CD just to have Sunday and Something About What Happened, but the old record holds up. Great cover of I Asked For Water. So, if you have it, give it a spin, if you dont, look for it. I forgive her for always coming to Atlanta when were out of town. Come back, Lucinda. Sunday and Illinois beat Iowa, barbecue with the grandkids and sunshine. A good day. PS Ed Anderson excellent last night, even threw in Harvest Moon. Later
