Such as Luke, Lucio, Lucia too. And basically the word itself is of Italian origins like these names! No matter how you personally define luck as you may have experienced or have it, the history of the word itself is very interesting to be educated well about it! There exists an island named Lochia off the coast of Italy in the Meditteranean. History tells that it was the first freeport or tax haven in the world of commerce in the Middle Ages. Thus sea explorers and the rich gentry wanted to have a business base there for tax reasons. And as we know, any tax free advantage will prosper one faster than the others personally and professionally at any time! Thus from the name Lochia, the word luck was derived as an adjective describing the fortunate state of a person as if he or she lived in Lochia thereby lucky! For being able to save more without taxes, thereby progress and prosper more successfully in life materially. So there, now you know and appreciate luck and being lucky better!
