Luck, Wilson Both Reach 10 Wins for 3rd Time in 3 Seasons: With their respective Week 15 victories, Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck and Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson became the first two signal-callers in NFL history to win at least 10 regular-season games in each of their first three years in the league, per Mike Chappell of RTV6 Indianapolis. Both quarterbacks achieved the feat against a key division rival, with Wilsons Seahawks defeating the San Francisco 49ers by a score of 17-7, while Lucks Colts came away with a 17-10 win over the Houston Texans. The 49ers were officially eliminated from playoff contention by the end of the day, and Houston now needs a miracle to qualify for an AFC wild-card spot. On the other side of things, Indianapolis clinched a second consecutive AFC South crown, while Seattle has a Week 16 matchup with the Arizona Cardinals that will go a long way in determining the eventual NFC West champion. It was once expected that Luck and Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III would be compared side-by-side for the entirety of their careers, but with Griffin suffering a well-documented fall from grace, Wilson and Luck often find themselves mentioned in the same sentence. As fun as the comparisons may be, the differing contexts of the two signal-callers careers makes it nearly impossible to arrive at any sort of conclusion. Wilson, a third-round draft pick in 2012, was selected by a Seattle team featuring arguably the NFLs best collection of talent. In addition to a Super Bowl, hes already won 34 regular-season games through three years, breaking the record of 33 that was previously held by Dan Marino and Matt Ryan, per Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times. Luck, who was selected first overall in the same draft, has largely been tasked with carrying a mediocre roster to the postseason. He still has an impressive total of 32 regular-season wins but with just one playoff victory to date compared to Wilsons four. Of course, Luck has also compiled far more prolific passing numbers, albeit with the important caveat that the Seahawks often need very little from Wilson. While both quarterbacks seem perfect for their respective teams, its not all that hard to imagine either filling the others role.
