Lucky (A306207) is a 1-2 yr old Alaskan husky mix. Hes a total sweetheart and wants nothing except to be loved on. Before coming to ACS, Lucky had not been treated very kindly, so he needs an understanding and patient home that would be willing to give him the proper time to open up. Thanks to his awesome foster family, Lucky is 100% housebroken, crate trained, walks fantastic on a leash, and rides very well in a car (once he gets in - hes a little shaky about actually jumping in the car). Hes cat friendly, dog friendly with proper introduction, and kid friendly. He doesnt get on the furniture unless he is invited up, hes learning to play with dog toys, and eat dog food. Hes already neutered and chipped and UTD on shots and preventatives. The only negative thing about Lucky is that hes not heartworm negative. His foster family is trying to raise funds for his heartworm treatment so the adopter doesnt have to worry about that, but SAPA can also provide a low cost heartworm treatment if you just cant wait to get your hands on this remarkable boy!
