Lucozade Powerleague Paisley Press Centre:- Wednesday Elite Cash League *** Showstoppers v Southsiders *** Southsiders kept their success from last night tournament going into tonight’s game as the won with a comfortable margin. The game was hard fought and it took a while for Southsiders to open up the gap between them and Scott Neilsons Showstoppers. A great effort from Showstoppers but they were let down with poor decision making and slack defending at times. Southsiders will have to keep the momentum going as they go into next week to face their closest rivals ACI in what could be an early title decider. *** ACI v Spark A Fag *** Stuart Bell was going to need to pull off another spectacular win tonight if he wanted to keep the dream alive of a back to back title win. Ricky Orr’s ACI were ready to dish out some revenge from the defeat to Spark A Fag on the last day of the season. The game was played out in contrast to the previous meeting between the sides as ACI dominated most of the game and kept the title chase on with Southsiders. Spark A Fag have two games next week and need to win both to keep in contention of staying in the top 4 going into the split on week 7!
