I find so often that after an initial fear of the process a dog when presented with calm and supported structure around the nail trimming will calm down and accept the handling of their paws. In doing so they find out that there is no harm or pain in something that was fearful for them. A nervous dog like Lucy will see me in a new light, one where I can provide assistance and allow them to feel confident. It is a doggie treat like no other that paves the road to trust!
