Ludwig Oppenheimer Mosiacs The couple had six sons, five of whom all worked for the firm. The eldest was a talented artist whose main passion was mountaineering and he wrote s book about it which is still in print. Over a hundred years in business the Oppenheimers were responsible for Mosiacs in cities all over the world, here is a list of just a handful; The floor of the Grande Palais des Beaux Arts, Paris. The Cathedral of Notre Dame de la Trielle, Lille. The National Museum of Ireland, Dublin. Dundalk and Newry Cathedrals. Honan Chapel of the University of Cork and 25 other Irish churches.
