She knows this is impossible, but yet it is the Word of the Lord so it will take place. Mary, humbly, submits to the angel telling him, be it unto me according to thy word. She recognizes, impossible or not it shall take place. When God speaks to you about the impossible, dont spend your time evaluating how possible or impossible it may be. The one criteria that matters is, did God say it? If He did you need only to submit yourself into His hand, for it shall take place. You need not fear Gods plan for your life, if He said it; accept it and go forward.
